Opening speech by: Zoltán VÉCSI NAGY, art historian
On view from 15. February until 09. March, 2014.
Apor FERENCZ S. // 1975., Miercurea Ciuc (Csíkszereda), Romania // finished Nagy István Art School in 1994, then continued his art studies at Bucharest National University of Arts and graduated from there in 2001. He is member of several art organizations, such as, the Romanian Artists Union, the Caffart Association in Budapest, and the MAMŰ Society.
Among his professional recognitions we may mention: the Art bursary of the Communitas Foundation (2003, 2010), the bursary of the Budapest Gallery (2006), the SIMON HOLLÓSY bursary (2006), the BARCSAY Prize (2011), the Special Award of the Second Szekler Graphics Biennial (2012) and several art subventions of the National Cultural Fund of Hungary (NKA).

2015.04.28On 1 April 2015 MAGMA Contemporary Art Space from Sfântu Gheorghe celebrated its 5 years anniversary. During these five years we have collaborated with around 250 artists, art theorists, philosophers, etc. and together we contributed to what MAGMA is today.[ details ]
